Frequently Asked Questions - (no COVID related info)

COVID Related Items for Program Participation

Many healthcare employers throughout the region require covid vaccination for all employees and students, however, many are now allowing exemptions and many strict regulations have subsided.

Students will visit many healthcare sites and they must be able to work with patients/residents in every facility they may be assigned to in order to meet program guidelines.  We know that covid vaccination is a very personal decision.   These requirements and exemptions may change as Federal CMS mandates and local requirements change.

Our program follows all policies of our host facilities.  This includes all vaccinations, flu shots, TB tests, masking, drug testing, covid testing, etc.  Policies may change by facility or by local, state, or federal mandates.

Exemption forms will be handed out by your teacher if they are needed.
